CHeCHI is a Nigerian women's wear brand that creates functional clothing inspired by the bustling energy and culture of Lagos but infused with contemporary trends. At CHeCHI believe that clothing should be beautiful but multifunctional.
Our clothing is for the woman who is social, loves to travel and experience new things. Our designs are inspired by the city we live in, Lagos and our travel experiences.
This year we decided to start creating in a way that is more ethical and sustainable for our eco-system. That has meant using waste generated from our production process to create accessories for our clients, producing less and incorporating a pre-order system to reduce waste and dead stock. Upcycling unsold pieces from previous collections. We also began to lend our voices to causes that directly affect our customer base i.e gender based violence. We will be donating 5% of the proceeds from our current capsule collection two two organizations in Nigeria who work with survivors of sexual and domestic assault.
